Pedro, geboren in Juiz de Fora (Brazilië), begon op 15-jarige leeftijd bas te leren in de lokale scene in zijn geboortestad. Op 21-jarige leeftijd verhuisde hij naar São Paulo om contrabas te studeren bij Sizão Machado, de legendarische bassist van de Braziliaanse muziek. In 2012 verhuisde hij naar Frankrijk om zijn studie voort te zetten aan de CRR van Parijs. Na het behalen van zijn diploma muziek (DEM) in 2014 verhuisde hij naar Amsterdam om zijn Bachelor Diploma te behalen. Hij studeert bij grote namen van Europese en internationale contrabassisten zoals: John Clayton, Enrst Glerum en Frans van der Hoeven.
In Nederland speelt hij met verschillende jazz- en geïmproviseerde muziekprojecten zoals onder andere Orè, Canvas, Noneto Desconcertante, OWL Man, Adrian Moncada Sextet, Maripepa Contreras, Jonathan Dafgard, Sama / Ferreira / Jaspers, Gabriel Milliet. Met Canvas Trio nam hij twee albums op als contrabassist en componist: Common Ground (2015) en Transitions (2017). In 2019 nam hij een EP op van de groep die hij oprichtte, Noneto Desconcertante, met zijn arrangementen en composities. In 2021 nam hij een EP op met zijn kwartet „Orè” met Braziliaanse en vrij geïmproviseerde muziek.
Met Nefertiti Quartet nam hij vier albums „Danses Futuristes” (2015), „Morse Code” (2018), „Frameless” (2022) en „Live In Paris” (2023) op; en speelt veel in Europa. In 2019 werd de groep Nefertiti geselecteerd om deel te nemen aan het programma Jazz Migration #5 en in juni 2019 won het de Euro Radio Competition in Kopenhagen.

At the age of 21, he moved to São Paulo to study double bass with Sizão Machado, legendary bassist of Brazilian music. In 2012, he moved to France to continue his studies at the CRR of Paris. After obtaining his degree in music (DEM) in 2014, he moved to Amsterdam to obtain his Bachelor Diploma. He studies with big names of European and international double bassists like: John Clayton, Enrst Glerum and Frans van der Hoeven.
In the Netherlands, he plays with several jazz, Brazilian and improvised music projects such as Orè, Lucas Santana Trio, OWL Man, Federico Calcagno, Adrian Moncada Sextet, Maripepa Contreras, among others. He recorded two albums with Canvas Trio as double bassist and composer: Common Ground (2015) and Transitions (2017). In 2019 he recorded an EP of the group he founded, Noneto Desconcertante, with his arrangements and compositions. In 2021 he recorded an EP with his quartet „Orè” featuring Brazilian and Free Improvised Music.
With Nefertiti Quartet, he recorded four albums “Danses Futuristes” (2015), “Morse Code” (2018), „Frameless” (2022) and „Live In Paris” (2023); and plays extensively in Europe.
